Terry Axman

Terry was born and raised in Carroll County and has built his career on relationships, serving customers and helping families and businesses protect what matters most.

Since joining Mid-Iowa Insurance in 1994, Terry has worked across all lines of insurance, bringing deep industry knowledge, practical experience and a personal approach to every customer. He has helped the agency keep growing while holding on to the hometown service and relationships that have defined Mid-Iowa for generations.

Terry believes being part of a community means giving back to the people and organizations that make it a great place to live and work. His community involvement includes the Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa, the Carroll Area Child Care Center Board of Directors, the St. Anthony Hospital Foundation, the Carroll Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Kuemper Booster Club. He has also spent countless hours coaching youth soccer, baseball and football, helping young people learn teamwork, commitment and sportsmanship.

One of the most rewarding parts of Terry's career has been working alongside his son, Josh, who joined Mid-Iowa in 2015.

Outside the office, Terry enjoys time with his wife, Kathie, and his three children, Melea, Josh and Kirby.

For Terry, success has always been about more than business. It's about relationships, community and leaving things better for the next generation.
